Hi,

It's great that Disqus uses Gravatars. However, we only have the
option to provide a custom "default avatar" image in Disqus. This
means that most users have the same dull avatar.

Could we have the option as well to use one of Gravatar's generated
defaults? I would prefer to fall back to the geometric "identicon"
option supplied by Gravatar see the options half-way down this page:
http://en.gravatar.com/site/implement/images/ (e.g: (http://
www.gravatar.com/avatar/205e460b479e2e5b48aec07710c08d50?d=identicon&f=y
)

I fallback to these identicons on my site (for posts), making this
change for me was as easy as adding "d=identicon" to the gravatar
URL! I'd love to use these for comments as well.

I'd second that, Gravatar's default icons are rather brilliant, I find
myself identifying them with the people even though that seems
improbable (:
