hello to all, again from ARGENTINA to tell you the news, we are daily and regularly establishing contacts in the band of 40 meters communications within the country at distances of 500 to 1000 km with a power of 15 to 20 wats, particularly from the RADIO CLUB CORONEL PRINGLES, which I wish to clarify, is the first radio club in Latin America to carry out regular FREEDV communications on an exclusive basis, that is, we only use digital voice for our contacts.

We have opened a page on FACEBOOK that you can visit and where our contacts are documented with a large number of Argentine stations and some of CHILE. We use very modest elements since we are a country with economic difficulties and little access to new technologies, so equipment and computers are really obsolete. However, the results are amazing and the difference in performance with single sideband is incredible, that is, communicating or not communicating, so simple. We invite you to visit the page and be able to verify the results we are obtaining.

the license of the RADIO CLUB is LU1DIL, and the QSOs are around 19 hs UTC, in lower sideband, in the frequency of 7045 kc, which by our regulation is suitable for digital, and also because in the previously agreed frequency we had problems with hostile AM ​​stations, which forced us to move to this new parameter.

We are very interested in the party on April 27 and 28, so we hope to expand our operating environment.

Hi Jose,

Well done on your radio club's FreeDV activities, and your MP3 is a fine
demonstration.

I am pleased that FreeDV works OK with older computers and radios.

HELLO DAVE, I'm glad to hear from you, thank you very much for your words, in fact we are grateful to you, for having given us the opportunity to freely use this wonderful communication system, and really and sincerely we admire your effort to help the communities that do not have adequate economic or technical means to carry out secure communications, we know that behind every modification of the program there is a huge number of working hours, so we are very grateful for this incredible effort.

We are firmly prepared to take FREEDV to all of ARGENTINA and the way to unite all possible RADIOCLUBS, in order to make known the technology that is required for access to the program.

as it must have happened in AUSTRALIA, I suppose this moves some powerful economic structures in communication, and some criticisms about the central RADIOCLUBES we have had, that advocate DTAR OR FUSION etc, but it does not bother us, there is room for all, and in that way we remain.
