Hi All

My Benford Mantis. Purchased for the enabling works on my property. Building a 7.5m x 5.5m workshop and another outbuilding as well as trenching for services, a patio and paths. closelely followed by an extension to the side of the house and a new driveway and hardstanding.

I purchased this Benford Mantis on eBay for £1600 in October 2011. It came with Four buckets and all the original accessories, attachements/fittings and paperwork (Including sales/receipts and Brochure). Excellent machine with a lot more grunt than you would give it credit for at first sight.

See attached and some more photo's here;

Hi Chris,

Great work with the Mantis. That tree stump would have been a nightmare to dig out by hand. Thanks for sharing the pictures - very interesting. You've done a lovely job to your house.

Thanks Jim

My Benford Mantis is still fitted with the original Robin 5hp EY 20 petrol engine. I have all of the original paperwork and receipts including manuals and parts lists for the machine and engine from Mantis Excavators Ltd, including the receipts.

If anybody running a Mantis needs copies, I can provide pdf's.

Cheers

Chris

Hello Glyn
I saw your post about filters etc. I have a Mantis ME130 also and was wondering if you managed to find anyone who can supply filters?
Thanks in anticipation.
Paul
