ok on tj the way they are feeding this i think is the biggest problem
they are throwing the dry supplement on top of the timothy pellets
then adding corn oil, no one mixes it up

all the rest of my clients are feeding it in wet beet pulp so the
horses cannot separate it
but karen said you did not want him on beet pulp becuase of the weight/
calories?
so is there a big difference in using timothy pellets vs beet pulp for
the carrier?

i want to try him on the beet pulp, what do you think?

I'd love to see TJ on beet pulp - just not a huge amount.
They could use water, also, to get the supp to stick to the Timothy pellets.
It does need to be stirred.

Folks need to realize they'll get back what they're willing to put in. If its too much bother to feed your horse right, don't expect him to be at top level. Horses aren't motorcycles that get left in the garage when we're busy - they're a way of life. (I know I'm preaching to the choir here : )
