Bone Broth Soup Cooking Class - an Ancient Immune Soup Tonic
Saturday February 28th from 1-3 pm
The Sage Center in Cooperstown will host a demonstration on the preparation and preserving of a Traditional Chinese Immune Soup Tonic formula called 'Fu Zhang Tang'. Also highlighted will be:

• How and where to buy therbal foods with their local sources
• How to determine if the herbs are of good quality.
• A general review of each plant's nutritional and therapeutic benefits.

Class participants have three options:
1) Attend class for free and take your own notes, or
2) Attend class and receive educational handouts for a nominal fee of $5, or
3) For $15, attend class, receive educational handouts and 8 oz portion of the already prepared soup. Those who chose this last option, please bring your own glass jar.

This recipe has been used amongst herbalists and Asian herbalists and their families for centuries. Though a simple tasty soup, it is known for its strengthening and supportive effects.  May reduce fatigue in those weakened by ill health or over work.
