Welcome to Delaware County's community bulletin board.   Got something you want the whole county to know?   Advertise  community and arts events & performances,  post program application deadlines,  get help finding a lost pet or anything else, tell everyone about your upcoming yard sale, or just start a topic you think is of community interest or want others' opinions on (you'll get 'em!).

The usual rules apply:  no personal attacks, no spam, no proselytizing.  Such posts will not be published.  Feel free to post community events that are hosted at/by a business.  Announcements of business openings are also permissible.   However, for the time being,  actual advertisements for businesses are deemed to be not apropo to this list.

To post an event announcement, please use the following subject line format:

           What, Where, Day/Date, Time

Then provide any further details in the body of the message.

Posts are likely to be moderated; after you submit a post, please watch your e-mail for any questions we might have; especially with announcements, we'll want to make sure the information is clear and complete.  

School districts using this space to make school closing or delay announcements will have unmoderated status so that information will be instantaneously available to parents and students.

Anyone can read the information at this site, but you will only receive e-mail if you join the group.  Joining is also the only way you can post.  Many members may find the best way to receive e-mail from this group is the digest form - that way, you'll only get one e-mail per day.  On the other hand, with the digest form, late-breaking announcements may not reach you until it's too late to attend a given event.  Select your preferred method of e-mail delivery by clicking on "Edit my membership" in the sidebar.
