Hi Srinivas,

Dataverse can be tricky to install, and I noticed how you've posted about difficulties on a couple threads on this list. It would probably be best for you to start a fresh thread with how things are going right now. From what I could gather you were having trouble deploying the war file and trouble with postgres.

There is no "one step" install for Dataverse but dataverse-ansible probably comes closest with two steps:

1. Install Ansible
2. Run the playbook

Please see the "quickstart" for more: https://github.com/GlobalDataverseCommunityConsortium/dataverse-ansible

For a quick demo there are other options. I typically run docker-aio (all in one) from my laptop but I suppose you could try it on a server as well. It mostly comes down to running the "prep_it.bash" script mentioned in the quickstart at https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/tree/develop/conf/docker-aio

As far as I know, Vagrant also still works, but I'm pretty sure this is only for a laptop for a quick demo. Please see https://guides.dataverse.org/en/5.9/developers/tools.html#vagrant

There are other community-led efforts to install Dataverse as well, such as https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse-docker and https://github.com/gdcc/dataverse-kubernetes

If you get stuck, please start a new thread. You are also welcome to join us at https://chat.dataverse.org or email sup...@dataverse.org to create a support ticket.

I hope this helps,

Phil
