Announcement: Call for Nominations for the 2025 GDCC Steering Committee Elections

Following up on the pre-announcement earlier this month, the Global Dataverse Community Consortium (GDCC) is excited to announce the call for nominations for candidates to serve on the 2025 GDCC Steering Committee! This is your opportunity to help shape the future of the GDCC by nominating passionate and visionary leaders who will guide our global community.

The Steering Committee plays a vital role in providing strategic direction, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the sustainability of the GDCC. The committee consists of five members, and we are striving to ensure representativeness in terms of geography and gender to reflect the global nature of our consortium.

Key Details:

Nomination Period: April 28 to May 23, 2025 at 18:00 CEST

Eligibility: Candidates must represent an organization that is a member of the GDCC at the time of nomination.

Submission: Nominations must include the candidate’s bio, statement of interest, consent to be nominated, and endorsements from two GDCC member organizations, and be submitted using the nomination submission form.
