Hi guys,

I have a single hard drive SCSI Disk.

Eserver P Series
IBM P/n: 09P4867

Model Number: ST318305LW

PCB BOARD gets a green light but it doesnt spin the hard drive, looks
like a PCB failure.

Can i simply replace the board if i find a donor and read the data?

Please help

its a seagate...
we usually just fix them

The board swap would work if the fw versions are close enough.

If your data is valuable, take it to a pro.

You have to be careful with that.
The chips are actually full of smoke
and if the smoke leaks out
then they dont work anymore.....

yuck yuck yuck....

Aren't we all here on this message board to become pros and share information with people who have done specific things?
