Hi Folks,

Is there a formal new version for DDI which supports 3TB?

The DDI3 supports drives bigger than 2Tb now with the latest firmware & software updates. Also the new DDI4 which was recently released.

You only need the download logon for the site and it will give you
access to all updates. If you are only updating the DDI sofware it is
very easy. rename the existing file on the ddi and then copy the new
one to the DDI and rename it DDI.EXE.

Firmware update is easy. You need your setup.ini file which you can request from in...@deepspar.com (give them the ddi serial number)
The go to ftp site & download drivers.
Install drivers on xp when you connect ddi (with power connected) to pc via usb cable. If you have updated firmware before then skip driver install. With ddi connected via usb run the update file you downloaded from the ftp site just make sure setup.ini file is in the same location. It will then download & install the updated firmware.

Then update the ddi.exe software as shown in the manual.

Hi, would you know the format of that setup.ini file? I was hoping
that I can put the DDI serial number in there, and update my DDIs.

I took apart all 4 of our DDIs on Friday to get at the serial numbers.

Now I am waiting for Deespar's reply to my request for the setup.ini
files, STUCK, because the DDIs have to be updated directly via
a USB cable (as far as I can tell from reading here).

Thanks, hope you get this soon and advise....

I believe that you should contact Serge from Deepspar and he will
provide you with the relevant files.
Serge is very responsive.
