Best controller card to use for SCSI recovery

What is your best choice for a controller card regarding SCSI
recoveries?

I use Adaptec 2940 on most of my images to SATA then WinHex

Also I have an Adaptec 39160 it has both interfaces on it

I just need something good for handling RAID 5 arrays. I will
probably use media tools pro for the imaging. Lets say for example
that I had good SCSI drives that I just wanted to recover straight as
they are without imaging onto SATA drives. Will rstudio pick up SCSI
drives on those controllers as well?
