Respected Sir,

Although I have watched few videos on YouTube regarding same, but still have many confusion.
I have applied factor analysis on my data for CFA (as factors were known to me). Now I want to apply SEM.
So, please provide me some links where steps are given for CFA with SEM (Amos).

This is a regression concept. Plz remember the value of unstd coefficient is dependent on the actual units of var. So there is no range for beta values.
Look at the output, for every statement p-value shd be < 0.05
The statements shd be significant.

Meaning:

In EFA when we calculate the Factor score, it is calculated by regression method i.e. we know the statement and by Factor Analysis procedure, we calculate factor coefficients and calculate factor by putting all these in regression equation.

In CFA, we do reverse. Here we use MLE regression which is Max Likelihood Estimation. This method tries to make factor first & then predict the values of each statement. Now if sig value for a statement <0.05 then it means that the factor is explaining that statement correctly.

Thanks sir.
Is there any acceptable range (max. and min.) for statement's importance? sometimes values are less than 0.9 and few are greater than 1.0.

please suggest the acceptable range for values given between two constructs, and its meaning too.

Dear Vaibhav
CFA gives u a basket of outputs i.e. u may choose output of ur choice.
Plz remember that CFA gives output on the basis of fixed std beta for any particular statement.
So ur output says that few of the statements are more important than the chosen statement (Ex AU3 in AC construct)
Others may have less beta than the chosen one.

Moreover, you've clicked on mean & variance (values given over construct & Error term) , which may be avoided.

Best wishes

Dear All,

I have some doubts in Amos-output (Attached). Random data has been used to get familiar with the concepts and terms. Through YouTube videos I got some help, but need some more help.

(1) I am unable to interpret the loading values 1.00 between AU3 and AC, PBC3 and PBC,   etc.

(2) Also loadings more than 1, example: between PS1 and PS&PR it is 1.66, PS2 and   PS&PR (1.34), etc.

(3) Two types of loading given between e3 and AU1, i.e. 0.17 and 1.

Thanks & regards
