Dear Sir,

Are there any rules for originality scores in turnitin as regards to up what percentage of similarity index is acceptable. Many a times it considers generic terms, quotations, references and bibliography as plagiarized.

The permissible similarity index differs from journal to journal as well as institutions/universities.

However 15-20% is most accepted limit.
