Respected All

Please guide me which ANOVA (ONE WAY ANOVA or TWO WAY ANOVA) and how it will be used in SPSS only.

1) IDV- Income is IDV have three categories like a) Less than 1.6 lakh b) 1.6-3.5 lakh c) >3.5 lakh
 2) DV- Then is E-banking service quality features (12 features with rating 1,2,3,4,5 of each feature)

There are 400 observations.

Please guide me and i am unable to find Dr.Neeraj Kaushik video too on ANOVA in SPSS. Please send the link also. I dont want to do in Megastat.

Thanks n regards
Navneet

Dear Navneet

Plz note
when there is 1 DV (Metric) and 1 IDV (Non-metric) we apply 1 way ANOVA
when there is 1 DV (Metric) and 2 IDV (Both Non-metric) we apply 2 way ANOVA

In ur case, 1-way ANOVA shd be used.

Best wishes
Neeraj

Respected Sir

Thanks a lot sir for sending the link.It has

But Sir I do not know how to insert data in EXCEL for applying ANOVA.
My question includes -
1) IDV-Income -3categories i.e a) Less than 1.6 lakh b) 1.6-3.5 lakh c) >3.5 lakh divided for 400 responses
2) DV- E-banking service quality features-12,means 12 variables like Convenience, Safety, One stop Banking etc.12 variables with 400 responses each. now how to arrange data for ANOVA.

Now how to arrange data for applying anova

Thanks n regards
Navneet

Dear Navneet
Plz note that data entry in spss and exel are quite different.
I'm happy that you got your solution.
Plz feel free to ask for any/every doubt.

Good morning Sir

Thanks for replying. i want to make request you if you have any video which shows data entry in excel and SPSS with same example, then send me the link. I am little bit aware of entering data in SPSS but not in excel.

Please also send the link where you have taken example of more than 2 Dependent variables with one IDV with further categories in One way ANOVA.

I would be really grateful to you.

Thanks n reagrds

Plz refer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94IqyxXTbQI&list=PLzUJUtTJcj8RrCY7JuRkY2nAeU0z8yFxu&index=9

Plz note when there are 2 DV (Metric) and 1 IDV (Non metric) we use One way MANOVA. As of now I've not made any video of the same. However this is explained in following posts:

ANOVA is always used for 1 DV (Metric) & 1 IDV (Non-metric)
You can run this 12 times each for every IDV

@Urmi

I did not get the meaning of non normal distribution in reults of ANOVA. Do u want to ask that how to interpret the results of one way ANOVA if the normality assumptions of variables is violated ?

I think Rajeev put the query in correct words.
Plz note the results of ANOVA will be quite robust even if the assumption of normality is violated, provided the group sizes are comparable.
if you've neither the group sizes as comparable nor there is normality in data then the results of F-test will not be robust.

Plz feel free to ask ur doubts.
Best wishes
