z axis gears fix

I dont know if somebody had similar problem but I had problem with enormous play in z axis gears. With these gears I was capable of fixing it.

Thanks for sharing. I'll try these.

I first started with the default ones and later moved to the version from bQ that is slightly different.

I don't notice much play but rather some wobbling, this also happens with the other gears is always the one that goes in the stepper motor.

The hex screw must push the gear slightly off center. Do you have that problem as well?

Yes I had similar problem with original gears. But with this gear set I havent got this problem anymore because I didnt need to tighten the screw too hard.

I changed the size of mine so it matches the tolerance of my printer. They bit now really snug. Also tried to use two screws/nuts opposed but didn't helped much.

They are bit snug but there Is enough tolerance for my printer.

The stepper shafts have slots. So my next test is to change the gear hole to had the D cut shape. Somehow I have to make these run true. :)
