I have a dubt for the cyclone connection.. what is the difference beetwen gbrl, gbrl v0 and smoothie?

Grbl and smoothie are firmwares, but smoothie its not compatible with arduino uno, grbl is. I dont know about grbl v0... :(

There is no official release of grbl for arduino mega, but CarlosGS, the cyclone creator has done one in the past, dont know if you are using that "branch" or did you get it from another place...

Smoothie its not compatible also with arduino mega, its only for 32 bit electronics.

Arduino uno its usually used with something called cnc shield, its like a ramps for the uno, you can google it, its a cheap addon and makes things a lot easier to connect.
