Sorry to bother everyone on the weekend but I’m looking for some help.
Our neighbor has asked me today if we were going to comment on a letter from the county regarding “SDP20200078 Glenbrook at Foothill Crossing Phase V – Initial Site Plan-Digital TAX MAP/PARCEL(S);056000000057B3” See below and attached link.
I was confused because I have not been made aware of any letter regarding public comment on the development abutting my property.
It references the “Comprehensive Plan: Neighborhood Residential 3-6 units per acre . . .”
And proposes a density of 6 units per Acre on 5.8 Acres.
My questions.
This letter supposedly was mailed January 5th but Jennifer and I can find no record of receiving it (maybe the problems with the post office).
The public comment meeting scheduled for February 4 is canceled for COVID (unlike those done on Crozet Park and the Master Plan updates via Zoom) .
As I mentioned a number of times I am not sure of how these processes work so if anyone can help us understand whether this is really an opportunity to comment or if it is a box being checked.
In either case this certainly highlights how out of control the development in Crozet has been become.
Thanks

I think I figured this out.
The original density of 31 units was not enough for the developer so this is a REVISED site plan to go from 31 units to 35. The changes are not bubbled so it is very difficult to tell what changed.
I also checked Frank Pohl’s e mails and he said the stream crossing (requirement for 2nd access) clicked in at 30 units not 35. I’m learning something new every day.
Sorry I let my own frustration bug everyone else but it is s great example of the way Crozet development is being managed.
