Hey there everyone ~
Can you join us at Herbst Theater in San Francisco, Sunday, May 22, at 2 pm? The Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, with its Benicia Chapter, will be performing Verdi’s Requiem to remember those we lost over the last two years or so ~ from whatever cause ~ (including two of our Benicia singers and my uncle John). You can find tickets and full information HERE. We’re also performing at the Benicia Historical Museum & Camel Barns on June 5 without the orchestra. Tickets are very limited for that one; contact the GGSOC for more information. It’s a tough piece, but I’ve grown to really love it. The music thunders through my head 24/7 as the performance draws nearer. Maybe you would like to join one of the GGSOC choruses so you can sing Beethoven’s 9th in Switzerland next year with us? Also sonic, not as heavy, Bodil and I are featured in Maker Music Festival. It’s set up as a large collection of online buildings. We are in the Buchla Building, here, top middle window ~ in great company. Oh, and we’d been traveling to visit family ~ we have some photos up on our Facebook feeds here and here.
I hope you all are happy and thriving in one way or another ~~~
Stay in touch.
