Hello everyone,
Thanks again for participating in the Robotics Challenge this year and I hope everyone had a good rest of the semester. Below is another great opportunity to show off your robots from either from the Challenge or from other opportunities which might help inspire young people to explore robotics. Nancy Reed from the Space Foundation is helping to organize an event on June 15th in Colorado Springs and please contact her directly if you are interested. She is CC'ed above and read more below and in the attached.
Also - one last chance to fill out the Robotics Challenge 2013 Survey below. Since I didn't give a due date before, I will
award the $50 certificate to one of the respondents on Monday May 20th.

And I'm going to add everyone to the COSGC-Robotics list in a moment (if you aren't already on this list) for information next year.
Happy Roboting - Brian
More Details from the Space Grant Director at the Space Foundation:
The Space Foundation is calling this the Summer of Discovery. We believe that the 10 weeks of individual and unique themes of programing that will be offered, will appeal both to local residents and visitors to Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region

As you will see from the link, the second theme of the Summer of Discovery series is centered around Mars and robots. Given CSGC's obvious success with having quality robotic programs at a number of it's affiliate institutions, I would like to ask your assistance. Saturday 15th, June will be the climax of the Mars/robot week, and my colleague Nancy Reed (copied on this note) would like to put the icing on the cake by adding robot demos by under grad/grad students. Now I understand that by the middle of June that all the colleges will be out, however, regardless of this, wonder if you might advertise this public awareness opportunity to our robotic orientated affiliates?
