Hello everyone,

Thanks for coming to the Robotics Challenge this year.  We had a great time at the Dunes, with great weather and many incredible designs. Some robots were feats of mechanical design, some were small, intelligent, and nimble.  All were creative and much learning was had by all.  Bernadette put an awesome video together and it is posted along with some still photos on the website.  Encourage your teams to get involved next year on April 5th, 2014 at the Great Sand Dunes.  Continue to design more advanced mechanical and electrical systems that have greater autonomy.

If you want to show off your Robot this weekend at the Statewide Colorado Undergraduate Space Research Symposium, you can still sign up by emailing me.  It is a great way to possibly win some cash and meet some people in the Aerospace Industry.

Or consider some of the other projects that you could take something you build to the edge of space and beyond.

And finally, as a small reward for reading this entire email, you can win a 50 dollar gift certificate to SparkFun if you fill this survey out.  This will help me build resources to share with teams next year.  http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/M2FCNCQ

Well done again and talk to you soon,
Brian

Hello everyone,

Hopefully your robots are moving right along.  I had some great questions over the past week and I'm really looking forward to seeing most everyone on Friday and everyone on Saturday morning.  I'm hoping to arrive at the hotel around 3pm on Friday.

Attached are maps and the agenda.  As you arrive at the Dunes, please tell anyone in the entrance booth that you are there for the Robotics Challenge and they should let you through without paying the entrance fee.  I've been talking with the Rangers at the Dunes and they are very excited to have us there.  Let's be great guests.  Please be sure to bring snacks, water and sunscreen for Friday and Saturday. Families are welcome to come and cheer on the teams.

See you soon,
Brian
