Partial solution, I think, for those phones without earphone jacks:

But I guess this means you can't charge the phone at the same time,
unless it has cordless charging. I want my earphone jack.

Reviews seem quite poor, most phone manufacturers included such an
adapter for the first couple of years after ditching 3.5mm, some have
stopped including them in the box and make you buy one if you haven't
ended-up with one by now ...

You omitted mentioning the brand and model of your smartphone where you
"want my earphone jack", which begs the question as to why you bought a
smartphone without one. Every smartphone I've bought had one.

Your smartphone also has no Bluetooth radio to use that to connect a
Bluetooth headset? If you're using the BT headset just for audio then
you won't notice a lag in sync to video.

I didn't buy one without one. I want the one I have and I'll want one
in the future too.

I watched a movie for 10 minutes once, until I got impatient. I wanted
to watch the whole thing, and I still plan to some day.

After I posted I noticed that. I was impressed that there existed one
at all.

But the ones they sell work better than the one I posted?

Or none work well?

IMHO, if a person doesn't have even the most basic functionality on Android
o They chose the wrong phone.

Seriously.

The fact is that over 99% of the Android phones out there today have the
standard 3.5mm headphone jacks; so anyone who wants them, has them.

It's only 1/2 of 1 percent who buy phones that don't have them.
o Even OEMs who copy Apple MARKETING gimmicks are adding them back!

FACTS:
o How many of the existing Android phones lack headphone jack basic hardware functionality?

o Woo hoo! Moto $500 Z4 courageously brings back the functionality
& practicality of the headphone jack!
