Hi,

I have a new laptop and I'm trying to calibrate the display and I'm running into issues.  The bootable USB drive does not boot, so I installed the colorhug-client 0.2-8.3. and I went through the document https://hughski.com/owner.html

The flash update worked fine (so the device is being detected)

However colorhug-ccmx doesn't seem to want to work. It does not pull any calibration data from the web. running with -v dumps many rows of numbers (mostly FF)

Running the actual calibration is a bit of hit or miss. Sometimes it works and other times I get this crash

(gnome-control-center:12669): color-cc-panel-CRITICAL **: 12:24:23.208: cc_color_calibrate_setup: assertion 'calibrate->priv->device_kind != CD_SENSOR_CAP_UNKNOWN' failed
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I do notice that when I start calibration from the gnome control center I do see 2 'Color Hug 2' devices. I don't know if it means anything.

Do I need to run colorhug-ccmx? what exactly do I get by using that
and
Is there anything I need to do to ensure calibration doesn't crash

Thanks,
RK.
