Dear Marcos Freire,

I would like to know whether all variety of coconut trees are getting affected with CLYD in Zambezia area. Will the new planting of coconuts survive in such situations. Is there any hybrids in this area and how are affected with CLYD.

    Hi Vinay, Marco, all -
     
    I will let Raja explain his process, but I had a quick email exchange with
    him and my understanding is that his scheme does both carbon making and
    activated carbon. Since originally I had assumed Marco's request was about
    diesel, I didn't realise that the integrated process involves heat energy
    until I found out more. I suggested looking at the WB report to get an idea
    and as Raja is interested in using coconut oil for the generator then it
    will involve sizing up estimated power consumption and backing out the
    required energy from coconut oil. That's where we left our private
    discussion, just an update so everyone is on the same page.
