Dear Ramesh,
Nice to hear from you after many years.
A friend in need is a friend indeed!
Regarding your problem of filing IT returns, here is a general reply with options
1. Option 1: Meet the PRO of IT department. Tell him that as per Supreme Court orders and as per commitments made by government (AG) to SC, government will not ask for Sham ID, “Aadhaar” number for any purpose, including IT returns. Since, online IT form cannot be uploaded without filling Sham ID ‘Aadhaar’ number, you tell him to accept your hard copy IT return. If he does not agree, send it by speed post and keep delivery record. If the IT return hard copy is returned, keep the envelop un-opened. Take the opportunity to inform him and IT department how the Sham ID ‘Aadhaar’ is a hoax. It is for all residents. Millions of people have been deleted because biometrics does not work. Spies and terrorists have obtained Sham ID ‘Aadhaar’ numbers. Only Pakistan and India are doing this and both use the same US private firms for technology. These firms have access all data with UIDAI and they are authorised to use the data in any manner desire.
2. Option 2: Approach Karnataka High Court with PIL or writ asking for directions to IT department to accept online returns without Sham ID Aadhar number.
3. Option 3: Fill 12 digits of zeros (000000000000) in the place of the Sham ID Aadhar number. The IT department may accuse you for filing a return with false information. This is not true. The zeros show that there is no Sham ID Aadhar number. They may not accuse you since, they will have to explain why they violated the Supreme Court orders.
You were present at the workshop that I organised in the IAS Officers’ Institute in Dec 2011. Please recall the demo given by J T D’Souza who has come from Mumbai for the workshop.
None of you in CAF got what the Sham ID, called, 'Aadhaar' is all about. Now when the shoe has started pinching, a late realisation is dawning.
Whatever happened to the gentleman who proudly announced his enrolment in the Sham ID, called, 'Aadhaar' and wrote to the DG, UIDAI at namma Bengaluru to inform him of the achievement.
Its indeed a pity that the gullible get taken in by charlatans, especially the rich and “famous” ones.
Let me take this opportunity to inform you and the CAF Google group how due to personal ignorance and egos and motivations of certain functionaries, the CAF society became defunct and is now an appendage of a politician.
A society that set out as an a-political NGO has degenerated to a lackey of politicians.
That is the bane of Indian society.
May God help us, if he can!

Mathew
