hi,

i'm a ruby on rails developer and i'd like to contribute to this
project..but i'm wondering where the documentations are and the bug
tracking tool for this project.. i'd like to just fork, read the wiki
for some docs and plans, look at the bug tracking tool for some task
and do it, pull request and move on.. could someone point me where it
is?

No bugs have been reported to date.

If/when one does get reported we will use the wiki and tracking tools
on the ChucksList project page on RubyForge.

Turns out Rubyforge offers all of these features. They are already set
up on the ChucksList project site:
http://rubyforge.org/tracker/?group_id=5466

I will add a link to it on the main ChucksList landing page at
http://chuckslist.rubyforge.org

Also the wiki URL is http://chuckslist.rubyforge.org/wiki/wiki.pl

I will add a link to that on the main ChucksList page too.

Thanks.

We added a few features for the next release (merged into the GitHub
repository) but have I have to finish merging the last bits of code
into the Git repository.

It would be great to have your help with development.

If you were interested in adding a feature or two, here are some ideas
of things we have not added yet:
1. CAPTCHA for new ad submissions
2. Add Javascript validation to confirm email address when posting an
ad (or else redirect them back to the form in a way that is neat and
prevents data loss)
3. add more tests (we started strong but then got sidetracked)

You can see the ChucksList repository on GitHub here:
http://github.com/goodkarma/chuckslist/tree/master

Here are details on how to merge changes:
http://groups.google.com/group/chuckslist/browse_thread/thread/d0c9f4ce1ade17cc?hl=en

Thanks.
