Hello Team,

I wanted to understand the process to get access to ucern. I already have an account in cerner care which i used to register in ucern, also all the applications within the portal are in "Pending" status. The portal also mentions that there are no WSO the the organization.

Would i get access to ucern by joining the cerner code program? I already have a provider app developed and tested in Code Console. I would want to understand the process and requirements to test the same within powerchart.

Any inputs on these will be highly appreciated.

Hello,

Access to uCern and powerchart would be available after joining the Code program.
You can find more information about code Program here  - https://code.cerner.com/

Thanks,
Fenil

Thankyou Fenil for the quick response.

The documentation of code program mentions us to submit the app which on approval will be listed in the App Gallery. We have developed a prototype of our App which we are not ready to publish yet. Can we not publish our app and still join the code program as want to first test our SMART app in Powerchart.

Thanks and Regards,
Shraddha G.

Hello Shraddha,

The App will be added to App gallery after it has gone through CODE Program and validation, which includes a working application launched from Powerchart.
However, if you want, you can always skip adding your App to App gallery.

Thanks Fenil,

1. I understand that joining a code program would require us to submit the app first. Post submitting the app we would gain access to PowerChart where we can test our Embedded app. Once the app is tested in PowerChart, the app would go in Validation phase whereupon if approved will be listed in the app gallery.
Is this correct understanding of mine?

2. The submit application also asks for a Code repository URL, since our SMART app solution consists of several components put together which include Front end UI   , Backend services that perform EHR query etc. i was wondering which code should be submitted?

1) Yes, that is correct!
2) You can skip that.

This is great Fenil. Thanks a lot for your prompt responses. We are looking forward to submit the app to join the code program.

While we do that in parallel, I am also trying to understand how standalone app works and how writing back custom data to EHR works. I have posted some queries around that here https://groups.google.com/g/cerner-fhir-developers/c/Zx5-E_bR0YE

Would appreciate your valuable inputs for the same.

Thanks and Regards,
Shraddha G.
