Hello,

I would greatly appreciate if anyone could help me with answers on below

1. HL7 FHIR documentation mentions that we can explicitly request for EHR context when launching a standalone app http://hl7.org/fhir/smart-app-launch/1.0.0/scopes-and-launch-context/index.html#scopes-for-requesting-identity-data Section 3

Has Cerner implemented the use of launch/patient and launch/encounter scope for Standalone provider apps?.
I have created a Standalone provider app and have used the launch/patient scope in the scope parameter. The expectation is,  the user upon successful authentication must be prompted to select a patient which will return the patient context. However, even after doing so I am still not getting the Patient selection list. Any suggestions?

2. Does Cerner expose an API to write custom values to EHR. For example, our SMART app predicts a patients risk score in % . We want to write this risk score value back to the EHR. How can we accomplish this?
Unlike other vendors, does Cerner have a concept of Flowsheet IDs which can be used in coding system to write this information via Observation resources? Which means that the risk score would be written against those flowsheets IDs and can be shown in PowerChart.

Thanks and Regards,
Shraddha G.

Hello,

Cerner has only implemented launch/patient scope for Patient Apps.
No, Cerner does not have an API to write custom values through Observation.

Thanks,
Fenil

Thanks Fenil,

If we want to write back to EHR the outputted score which would be a numerical value, how can we achieve this if not via writing Observation resources?
