What is the highest know level of Dual-N-Back?

The highest I have heard of were on level 15.
And also how would you think it would affect your daily life when you have achived such a high level?

Actually, I think Kevin Ann, a poster in this group, reported reaching 24-back a while back. So that's the highest I've heard.

Wow that's extremely impressive. You could easily multiply four or five digit numbers in your head if you could do that.

Getting that far would most certainly require chunking (long term memory) that is specific to the task, and the magic number of 7 +/- 2 for working memory is still the same. Maybe for those exceptional individuals it's 9 +/- 2, plus the chunking.
