Hi Goncalo,
is there any way to record content of the shader window to a video file?

Hi Johannes,

The most efficient and transparent way to do this is to use Fraps: http://fraps.com/
If on the other hand you also want to capture other GUI elements, like Bonsai nodes, windows, etc, then better to use the ScreenCaptureStream node.

Theoretically, there are ways to use GPU-encoding to compress video directly in graphics card memory (ffmpeg is starting to support this), but I haven't figured out the details yet.
