Can you clarify what you mean by 2 column category? Are you referring to nested categories or something else?

It's not a plugin, but the closest thing I could find was this code, which was described by Abby Schmiedt in this old post from March 2021.  Is that what you are referring to?

That plugin was being developed by a member of the open source community, not someone on the Blockly team, so unfortunately I'm not sure of the status of it.
