Changing the default presentation

Hello,

I am currently testing BBB 2.0 with greenlight

How do I change the default presentation?

I have downloaded the default.pdf from /var/www/bigbluebutton-default

 but the file has just 5 blank pages...

So I guess the text with the 2 images for youtube tutorial is coming from somewhere else, but could not found where....

Can anyone drive on where to update this text?

I have also tried to change the logo following the procedure describe here:

by <branding logo="logo.png"

My logo size  is 150x36

and when I do this client is wided to the full screen width, and I can not see all the right part of the client...

Any way to resolve this?

You can find the default PDF in the root of the server. It's definitely not blank though. You can see the one on our test-install server here, http://test-install.blindsidenetworks.com/default.pdf.

You should be able to either replace default.pdf in /var/www/bigbluebutton-default with a different PDF or open /var/lib/tomcat7/webapps/bigbluebutton/WEB-INF/classes/bigbluebutton.properties and look for the following line:

# Default Uploaded presentation file
beans.presentationService.defaultUploadedPresentation=${bigbluebutton.web.serverURL}/default.pdf

You should be able to change that value to a different URL.

I would suggest having the default be a PDF instead of PPT or something else because it's quicker to convert.

Thanks Chad, I had a look again at the pdf

transfert it from the server to a windows ftp server open it again ,and it's still blank.

Anyway I will replace it with one from my machine and see if that replace it in the bbb client.

What about the logo in png format?

When I use it all the client can not see the icon microphone, video,... or language, layout,....

Does the logo needs to be in a specific format?

Logo is in png format and I have reduced my logo to be 143x34 pixels, but I still have the same issue....
