Hello, everyone! This group has gotten kind of stagnant, so I decided
to post another picture of moi on the front page.

DH and I recently took our "last" camping trip for awhile, because
once our new baby is born, we probably won't be able to go camping as
a family for a while. After he posted the pics online, I noticed a
drastic thinning of my face from pictures of my past, which you can
see for yourself in the Files section.

A few months after I got pregnant, my total weight loss was 50 pounds
since January 30th of this year. I have since put on 5 more pounds,
but considering I'm 7 months pregnant, that is an AWESOME weight gain,
as most women are about 25 to 30 pounds heavier at the same gestation.

I'm hoping that after the baby is born, I'll have even more of a
weight loss than when I became pregnant, but we'll see, I don't want
to count my chickens. However, I did just buy some maternity pants,
and while they fit me very well in the waist area, they are still
baggy in the legs. I guess I just have to deal with looking like MC
Hammer throughout my pregnancy. Nothing I can really do about the
pant leg thing, if I get a smaller size, it won't fit my tummy, even
the maternity clothes. :( SIGH

So, I have NO idea what size I'll be in once baby makes her arrival.
However, I did want to show you my new picture and give you a frame of
reference between my heaviest picture and my current pic from a few
days ago. :)

Becka, that is great! You look wonderful. I saw the camping pictures
yesterday and that was the first thing I said to Jim "Becka looks
awesome!" I am sure you can keep it up after the baby comes and make
it to your goal! It is quite an inspiration. I need to start doing
something as I have slowly been gaining "Happy Fat" while I cook for
Nate and we go out to eat too much! Something has got to change. We
have been doing the Wii Fit and trying to walk more, but drastic
measures need to come soon or else the rest of ny clothes will not
fit. But back to you - GOOD JOB!! :)

You look great!  I haven't posted to your weight loss challenge site because I haven't lost any weight.  I've been stuck at the same weight now for 5 months.  I really need to re-focus and cut back further on my calorie intake.  Currently, I keep my calories between 1500 and 2000; and I do two one-hour sessions of exercise at least 5 days per week.  I'm going to try cutting back to 1200 -1500 calories and see if that does anything.  I don't have enough hours in the day to add any more exercise time.
 
As for you, I think you will be very pleasantly surprised at your post baby weight.  I've said before and I'll say again - I am in awe of how well you have done with your weight loss especially being pregnant.  You are an inspiration!
 
I saw a clip on a news program that Jillian (one of the exercise coaches on the Biggest Loser Program) has an exercise program for the Wii Fit.  I'm going to check when that comes out and put it on my Christmas wish list.  I like Jillian and it looked like the workout was fairly intense.
 
Hoping everyone in this group is doing well and looking forward to "talking" with all of you again.
