Hi, all:
I tried to run 300 primate samples with 15000 bp mt sequences.  For lognormal and exponetional model, I need to set uced.mean and ucld.mean.  Any idea on how to set these two value?
Thanks,

All the best,

Peter

At an old thread on the issue Andrew Rambaut recommended "a diffuse gamma distribution (shape 0.001, scale 1000)". In my experience this works fine as long as you tune the operators according to your data [since you have a big dataset you might try to increase the effort of the operators mentioned in section 2.6 of the beast manual].

All the best
