What Happened to FURTADO'S in Fall River, Massachusetts?

A few months ago, there used to be a website for FURTADO'S Chouricos
and Linguica in Fall River, Massachusetts at the same street address
where my friend's grandparents used to live. Now the website is gone
and the closest type of website I can find for Chouricos and Lingquica
in Fall River, Massachusetts is a place called MELLO'S.

Does anyone know what has happened?

Hi Pat,

Mr Furtado decided to retire and since no one in the family wanted to continue running the shop, it closed this  past year. We almost always bought from them when we lived in Rhode Island. It's to bad they closed, but I suppose the younger generations see thing in a different light.

That is so sad! Now that I've discovered that the descendants of
Caetano Moniz FURTADO are related to my friend, I was hoping to be
able to contact them. My friend grew up knowing virtually nothing
about his Portuguese heritage and I thought it would be nice to put
him in touch with his new-found cousins.
