I have an ancestor Maria da Ressureicao d'Andrade b. 1888. Her siblings
include Jose (~1877), Frank (~1882 m. Jovina) and Antonio (~1892). Their
parents were Antonio d'Andrade Caggarinho and Maria Jose. I'm not 100%
certain about her surname but I think it was Moniz Botelho. May have
also been Moniz, Botelho, or Luiz, I have some conflicts.

In seeing passenger lists and going through the Rosario obitos
transcribed by Hermano, I've seen a lot of d'Andrade Caggarinho/Cagarros
moving between Sao Miguel and Santa Maria. I was wondering if anyone had
researched this surname or had any connection to it.

Cagarro is an Azorean idiomatic expression synonymous for Mariense, i.e., someone originating in Santa Maria.
