I need some help please with the names:   Manoel Furtado Salvador son of Manoel  ?   de ?   and of his wife Rita dos Santos  and Marianna Roza daughter of  Manoel  ?   ?  and of his wife Francisca dos Santos.   I have the date.

How many Manuel's are on those pages?  To get help of the correct ancestor, you need to state which record.  If they are not numbered, you can say right top, or 3rd one on the right, etc.

they are the first ones on the top left side of the page.    And it seems this parish is mostly made of  Furtado, Rodrigues, and Freitas.  It's nuts.

Eric,  where are you seeing the ages of the bride and groom.  I can usually pick those out.   And can you tell what the word is immediately after the groom's father's name of Manoel Furtado?

The above marriage is on page 629. And if you search (Ctrl+F) in that book for "Manuel Furtado Salvador" you'll see all the marriages from his sons. Reversely, you can search for his parents, and slowly build your entire Flores+Corvo tree just from this book alone. You should then use the book and the CCA site to verify your data, but as a Flores researcher myself, I can tell you this book is worth every penny even if it's price was 3x the $18. Even if you don't have a Kindle device, you can install the Kindle software just about anywhere and use that to read the book.

At some point, when you have it up to the mid-1700s, I'm sure we'll find common ancestry between you and my wife (and my children).

Thank you Joao.   I will do that.  I am verifying the work that my cousins did on these lines (their direct line, my people are from Sao Jorge), which is really filled with errors.     The part that is throwing me the most is the father of the groom.    I have seen his surname listed as Salvador twice in the records, and what looks to be Basoura in others; definite  B versus  S.   Thanks again for the book tip.
