I have some colateral and a CUNHA ancestors. MATIAS DA CUNHA is my 9th greatgrandfather (1671).

Helen,

I have Graciosa da Cunha in my line. Delfina Maxima da Cunha (b. 3 Apr 1816) is my 2nd Great Grandmother. If you have some names, I can check other parts of my tree.

Hi Pam recently I posted on your page about the da Cunha's from
Graciosa and there was a response and I deleted without paying
attention to it. If anyone has any information on the Cunha name. My
grandmother is buried in Santa Cruz Graciosa. My father's name was
Alfred Cunha.

I have Cunha in my direct tree from Guadalupe, Graciosa. Delfina Maxima da Cunha is my 2nd Great Grandmother. She was born 3 Apr 1816 and married 25 Jun 1835 to Manuel da Silva de Vasconcellos. Her mother is Francisca Maxima da Cunha.

Bill, you wrote back in January. Thanks. I don’t see any names here I recognize but I don’t have a lot of info from the early 1800’s in my tree yet. I’ll keep your email and see if there’s a connection later. I’m going to Graciosa in May, my first visit. I’m very excited about it and have a researcher working on my ancestors before I get there. Have you been to Graciosa? If so, any ideas about what I should do, go?
