If any of you get an email saying I invited you to join Mydailyflog, do NOT join.  I did NOT send or ask them to send this and somehow they got into my mailing list and sent it out to everyone on my mailing list.  I have had them remove my email address from their list!

A general reminder to all of you.

As an IT person, I see this kind of stuff all the time. As a general rule, you should never click on ANY link in an email unless you were specifically expecting it. Even if it was sent from someone you know. Just like in this case, the person may not have really sent the email. If you get something you think might be legitimate but are not quite sure, email the person and ask if they sent it first. If it's from a company, go to the website on your own without clicking the link or do the same thing as for a personal email. Email them and verify that they really sent it before you click on it. It's quite common for email ID's to be highjacked and used to catch you off guard. These are generally emails that are designed to infect your system the moment you click on them and can steal a whole host of information from your system before you even realize it.

Hi Elaine,

I clicked on it but I decided I did not want to create another pass word so I deleted it. I figured if the picture was that good it would be attached to a message.

Elaine,
It happened to me once also. It is a virus that steals your email address and password and then uses to send junk mail all over in your name. Change your password immediately!
I know, it's no fun.
