At a personal level, I think this most recent heatwave has been the most challenging yet. The temperature in the central part of the Isle of Wight reached at least 31 Selsius on both Thursday and Friday, and even today, the mercury reached around 28, but the combined effects of the humidity and high pollen levels made it feel a bit warmer than that.
When the weather's that warm, I tend to do very little, particularly during the afternoon and early evening. Put another way, if I have any shopping or similar activities to attend to, I make sure I get into town reasonably early, so I can be back home again while the temperature levels are still reasonably comfortable.
Let's just see what the weather brings us next week.
Cheers, CB.

Hi Chris,
I think it will be much cooler in the coming week. Let’s hope so anyway.
Paul.
