Hello everyone
Is anyone crossing back to Europe this year?
We are presently in Martinique and plan to leave from Guadalupe early May bound for the Azores.

Hi. I am planning to sail back either from Antigua or Sint Martin in May towards the Azores (probably Terceira).
Do you have an SSB??
Currently in St Anne making my way slowly northwards.

I’m still sailing in Europe (currently moored in Holland). But my young nephew is hoping to find a berth on a boat sailing Transatlantic this May-June. If anyone hears of an opportunity please pass his name along. (As his uncle I would only want him on a well found boat with at least 3 other crew. That said he’s a great young man and I’m sure would be a reliable crew member.)

Thanks,
Max

Our 24 yr old nephew Rudy is finishing up an internship at the New London Historical Society this April, after which he will have some free time and is hoping to find a berth on a Transatlantic passage. Given the timeframe this would presumably be from the Caribbean or US East Coast to Europe. He can cover his own transportation and expenses.

Rudy has lifelong sailing experience, mostly in small boats. For many summers he has been a lead instructor at the Orr’s Bailey (Maine) Yacht Club sailing school. He has limited experience in big boats, but did a passage with Lynnie and me down the East Coast of the UK, joined us for part of our transit through the Netherlands, and numerous shorter sails. We have always enjoyed him as a crew member.

Rudy is an attentive, extremely conscientious, enthusiastic and amiable crew member. I am confident that he would be a reliable crew member on a longer passage and would quickly pick up the operating details. He is outgoing, has many interests, and is a very likable young man.

Hi Dan
We left St Anne's this morning for Marin marina to do a few jobs!
Yes we have SSB  -  call sign M zero DWV mm so could be in contact on passage.
We want to spend time in the Saintes and Guadalupe. My phone works there too which saves on Digicell.
Cheers J & K

Hi Dan
Do you have a suitable frequency and time to suggest? We were talking to a UK Ham on 14,303 at 07.00 local time. Bit confused now daylight saving has kicked in in the UK but not here. Need to adjust alarm!
Would be happy to meet up if you are still about.
Cheers
John and Kim
