Almost a year for me (March). For about the last two months I have been having a burning sensation to the top lateral part of my foot. Anyone else having this problem? Wonder what it could be.

Hi Dennis, I have almost no pain now and can walk with no problem. I’m anxiously waiting for my pool to open-with many restrictions in place, of course, to swim. Honestly doing my exercises in the outdoor pool at our swim club last summer felt better than anything on my foot. Still have some soreness if I have to stand in one place for a long time. Can have a little swelling if I have to sit with my foot down for too long. Have to make sure get up and walk around at work during the day. If your pain is in the instep, a massage ball is great to use- just roll it back and forth along the underside of your foot. My PT said it helps keep the muscles and tendons stretched out. You can use a golf ball or there are products made just for that purpose.
