Do you have any ideas on how to hide the contents of RUN and MOD files from a user? The idea is to share a model with a user (perhaps at another company) without giving away the intellectual property.
The way I’ve been getting the RUN and MOD files to AMPL is to execute a command-line:
AMPL RUN.TXT
The RUN.TXT file contains the information necessary to read the MOD.TXT file. In order for this to work, the two text files reside in a folder for the duration of the model run. This leaves the information in the two files exposed.
Any ideas? Encryption?
Thanks in advance,
Kevin
