Hello,

Is there a way to prevent an ampl model to be readable (e.g.
encrypted) and still be usable (for instance using a key allowing the
execution) ?
Thank you in advance,

Pierre

We offer a way to encode (encrypt) certain input files -- including model,
data, and script files -- so that users cannot read them. Additional input
can be provided by unencrypted by users, as it is not necessary for all
input to come from the same file. Technical details are available in a
collection of files available at

http://www.ampl.com/NEW/modhide.zip

These contain a README (and, for Windows, README.txt) explaining how to
provide decoders via AMPL's imported-function facility, along with examples
and other useful information.
