Players With the Most Super Bowl Rings

First off, I'm surprised that this list includes
only 3 Patriots players & 9 49ers players, but
includes a huge number of Steelers players,
21. Moral of that story is Steelers won 4 Super
Bowls in 6 years, 49ers took 9 years to win 4
Super Bowls, & Patriots won 3 in 4 years but ...

... it took them 10 years before winning their
next 3 in 6 years. Only Tom Brady lasted, no
other 2005 team members were around when
Tom got his 4th-6th Patriots Super Bowl Rings.

Of course Ron Gronkowski who got his 1st-3rd
rings with Tom in 2015, 2017, 2019, went with
Tom to the Bucs to get his 4th & helped Tom
get his 7th ring.

You can't compare salary cap era to uncapped era meaningfully.
PIT and SF were able to keep their teams together in a way NE was not.

I've been wondering if you can't even compare pre and post rookie
wage scale. It's an enormous benefit to have a QB in his first 4
years. I think in the salary cap era only 3 QBs have 2 SB wins not
including one on 1st 4 years of a rookie contract:
John Elway, Peyton Manning, and Tom Brady.

Salary cap began in 1994.

So, Super Bowl 29 at the end of the 1994 season
was the first Salary Cap era Super Bowl. Here's a
rundown of winning QBs and what year they were
in beginning with Super Bowl 29.
https://www.docsports.com/current/super-bowl-winning-quarterbacks.html

7 of the 27 winning QBs (a smidge over 1 in 4)
since Super Bowl 29 have been won by a QB in
his first 4 years.

So, 25% won with advantage of QB being in his
first 4 years, 75% won with advantage of QB hav-
ing more experience albeit costing his team more
making it more difficult to provide him with quality
supporting teammates, theoretically.

Add that to things that make one go hmmm.
