Dear Liberal whiners,

I don't condone what Zimmerman did. But I see the defense shaping up
like this.

Zimmerman will claim that he was "in fear for his life". Because as
Trayvon bashed his head (Exhibit A- HiDef photo of giant Gash on back
of Zimmerman's head) he was afraid that the gangster wannabe would
take his gun and use it on him.

Even Cops are trained to use deadly force on an assailant who has the
potential to disarm them or makes an attempt to disarm them.

Fear for his life...reasonable doubt all the way around. No
conviction. Hung jury.

You forget that while Zimmerman's case for self-defense may be sound
enough, that members of the jury know their lives are in danger if they

He might have done some good in that time, despite the skittles...

(or bad, I don't know, but his parents seem nice enough... better than
most..)

No doubt, the skittles would have got him eventually, but he'd likely

The main lesson here is avoid skittles, and avoid walking at night
without a bullet proof Kevlar vest? I don't know...

One has to go with the odds ultimately.... The best way to provide
safety probably is to just wear a helmet when driving, really... Probably
save 5000 or more lives per year, just guessing offhand... (not sure most
cars provide enough headroom though...)

Possibly, just provide a bladder of inert gases thrown over the crash-
victim at just before the crash-time might save lives.... Of course,
this is approximately just what the air-bags try to do... I don't know..

If Zimmerman was reasonably in fear for his life when he shot Martin,
then he committed no crime. If he committed no crime, he should be
acquitted.

That is exactly right. This case will come down to Zimmerman's 's
state of mind at the precise moment he made the decision to (1) draw
the weapon, (2) point it and (3) pull the trigger. A smart defense
will break each one of these actions down because each one requires
thought if the action was premeditated and no thought if the action
was instinctual.

Did Zimmerman draw the weapon and have it in his hands as he fought
Trayvon? Or NOT?

Did Zimmerman point the weapon at Trayvon at anytime and did he
threaten Trayvon with death or NOT?

When he pulled the trigger was he in fear for his life? Or angry and
hateful towards the black kid who busted his head open?

The prosecutor will try to scare Zimmerman into a plea bargain. But in
all honesty I think that Zimmerman has a sound self defense case and
he walks away from this Scott free if he doesn't fall for the plea
bullshit.

But he is still a jerk off for killing an unarmed kid who was legally
walking the streets of America doing nothing but minding his own
business.

He's not being tried for premeditated murder, cupcakes. It's Murder 2,
not 1. Given the story as we know it, I doubt he started following
Martin with the intent of killing him.

We only have Zimmerman's testimony, since Martin is dead and cannot

That's from David (Zepp) Jamieson who apparently refused to
allow the woman he claims to still be married to use of his
Internet account, and then when she got fined for broken tail
lights and failure to licence the family pets, he refused to
help her pay the fines and then after a decade, she was forced
to do community service.

The truth may be that Zepp has been lying about still being
married to her and instead, she left him for reasons Zepp doesn't

You are anxious to see him convicted of murder, and will reject any
evidence that he acted in self-defense. You've already expressed your
contempt for his Fifth Amendment right to be indicted by a grand jury,
and you will express contempt for his right to not be tried again when
he is acquitted by a unanimous jury.
