Eldon Braun died yesterday friday 19th February, 2010, at 11:20 a.m., all of
a sudden, in the hospital St Louis, Paris, where he had been admitted to
cure his quite recent cancer.
He had been in the hospital some weeks before, then went back at his
friend's home, we discussed together: he had to get the chemical cure from
monday last.
But he got an intestinal occlusion , was suffering a lot, and his heart did
not hold the violence of the illness.
We'ell get some more details on his last moments.
Roger
Thank you for the news Roger.
I will miss Eldon.
This is sad news. I had been trying to get in touch with Eldon for the
past few weeks. His roommate, Alice, posted the following notice yesterday
on his Facebook page:
"Eldon passed away today at 11.20 in Hopital Saint Louis in Paris where
he had been admitted one month ago for a pancreas cancer...From Alice,
his roommate"

I'm so sorry to hear that. He will be missed and is already being
remembered by some of the people on alt.clearing.avatar as having made
a real difference in helping survivors of that experience.

May he rest in peace.

Very sad news. Eldon was a wonderful human being. We shall miss
him.

Thankyou Roger.
I will spend some time re-reading his posts.
They helped me tremendously.
He definitely is someone who's postings I sought out, and learned
from.
Thankyou all here on ARS.
I hope someone posts more photos of him.
RIP Eldon. I enjoyed your intelligent participation.
Awww....
Thanks Eldon, for all that you have done.
Look to this day,
For it is life,
The very life of life.
In its brief course lie all
The realities and verities of existence,
The bliss of growth,
The splendor of action,
The glory of power-
For yesterday is but a dream,
And tomorrow is only a vision,
But today, well lived,
Makes every yesterday a dream of happiness
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well, therefore, to this day.

That's so sad. He was an important contributor here.
He will be missed.
Sad news :(
Thank you for informing us, Roger.
Condolences to Eldon's friends and family.

This is hurtful news. I didn't even know that he was ill.
Groups with a totalitarian leader comes and goes but the people stays
strong.
A big lost for the freedom of speech isn't the total victory for the
censorship.
When totalitarian leaders strikes down they all fall but when a critic
strikes down by killer cells ten new ones pops up.
Nobody knew before the last weeks. I had some suspiscion of his bad health
last time we ate together; that was on december 9th in Paris.
Rather than taking his preferred oysters, french chips and beef and so on,
he ate only a salad, di not drink wine, and was clearly more puffing-breathe
than ever before. (He had stopped smoking more than one year ago)
He said me that his new regimen was great, since that helped him, he said,
but that was'nt convincing since my observation was that he looked in bad
shape.
I thought he could indeed having gotten the bad thing, but well, he
preferred his method than going to see a doctor.
When he went , forced by his pain in january, it was very very late. In the
last day, he had also a pulmonary embolism, that the cancer had
precipitated. Lack of oxygenation stopped the heart.

I am so so sorry to hear this. Truly.

Wishing him all the best in the next place. Lively personality, sorry
to see him go.
R.I.P Eldon, I'm sorry to hear this. When I was told this morning I
was hoping it wasn't true. :(

I am sad to hear of this.
It shows how inhuman and disgusting the scumbags of OSA are that
they'd use his hospitalization for their sick trolls.
RIP Eldon.
He was a very very cool guy.

Another one passing on the torch to younger runners. I'm sure those who
went before can find a good seat for him in the ARS VIP stand, cheering us
on. We miss you all guys.

This is so sad to read, Roger. He was a good friend of yours and I am
so sorry for your loss. I really have alot of love for that guy. I am
in tears.
The pain of any pancreatic disease is so bad that he probably thought
the diet was helping. It usually does help with the pain but with
cancer, it's only temporary. Thank you so much for being in touch with
him and for all of us when the OSAbot posted last week. Please send
condolences to Alice and his family.

:) I hope he knew that we all were concerned about him, too. I am sad
and sorry he's gone. I am so sorry for your loss of a friend, Jens.
Thank you for checking up on him for us ( as did Roger).
Mary McConnell
Yes, I hope he got to read the comments from alt.clearing.avatar about
him from people who believed he had died at the time and wrote that he
really helped them and made a difference in their lives.

I did tell him that he was the talk of the group.
Thanks for your kind words, Mary.

I made sure I saw him in person. He did seem upbeat when I saw him, but he
was not well and he knew it.
Best regards
Jens

He's even cooler now - like room temperature . . .

Yes, he probably was'nt used to be so ill; as far as I remember him (more
than ten years ago i believe), he was not in really good health, but he was
smoking a lot. Now, he perhaps thought it was'nt much different to suffer
from the stomach or besides, and I doubt he went to a doctor bafore it was
really no longer bearable.

Given that he had pancreatic cancer, it really wouldn't have made much
difference anyway if he had sought medical care earlier, as there are
no effective treatments for it and there is no test for early
detection. The most they could have done is extended his life a few
more months and he very likely would have had horrible side effects
from the treatments.
At least this way, he got to go out on his own terms. I just hope they
were at least able to make him comfortable during his last weeks.

If religious criminals goes to heaven and victims of crime goes to
hell it's good for the business the fraud of scientology devote itself
to. Angels in Ron Hubbards hell don't act as hells angels not
pretending to be someone else than what they are in the reality.
To play down life is to play down death.
We meets and we leave each others.
The QUESTION is....Do we leave each others in joy and happiness or in
anger and a desire for revenge?
The ones wishing others the best gets fatal diseases as the ones
wishing others the worst.
Stop using the name God in vain, you hypocrite.
Eldon was a good man. You obviously aren't. Go fight your issues
elsewhere.
GOD sees it all and has its own ways. Hope GOD helps you with your
anger .
What if God isn't GOD! what if God is good without a dot behind good?
Everyone can be good without a dot behind good even good without a dot
behind good
What's left of LRH's criminal organization?
Ditto.....I'm very sorry to hear of this. I had no idea
Eldon was even sick. May he fly high and enjoy his new
adventure. He won't be forgotten here.
Thank you, Roger, for posting this.
My best,
Tory/Magoo

On a round planet instead of a flat Earth can everyone bump on
themselves in their own bottom instead of bumping on others in their
own bottom in fears to end up in hell if they falls down from the edge
of Earth.
