I'm doing this list from memory of the things that I think Doug Marman got
factually wrong in his history about Paul twitchell and Eckankar. I won't
bother with too much detail as to why which can be found on a.r.e. and
the archive easy enough.
Plugging "doug marman" into the alt.religion.eckankar search box will show
more than enough examples with factual references (ignore my humourous
hyperbole commentaries here and there), and browse through the Best Of
compilation on the Paul Twitchell Eckankar History archive.
The PAUL TWITCHELL and ECKANKAR HISTORY ARCHIVE - aka TEHA and PTHA

One can check Doug's 'facts', conclusions and various reports on his
websites DITAOC and Spiritual Dialogues Project, or buy his 'The Whole
Truth' (TWT) book.
As usual this is longer than I hoped, but all of it is worth knowing, imo.
1)
Doug maintains that Twitchell only 'plagiarized' >2% of his total writings
on Eckankar. That it was probably closer to only being 0.7 to 1.0 of PTs
total Eckankar writings.
Given many new finds from 2008 to 2015 the (at times verbatim) plagiarism
so far discovered in Twitchell's writings suggests Plagiarism could be as
high as 90%. When the plagiarism is located it usually amounts to whole
pages in length at times up to entire chapters.
2)
After Doug was provided with clear evidence of large amounts of plagiarism
examples he had never known about (or had admitted to knowing about) he then
claimed "it still doesn't matter" and refused to adjust his views or
opinion. Nor has he added this new information to his website so others
knew of it too.
3)
Doug repeatedly claims that the plagiarism only occurred in a few books.
That's wrong because verbatim plagiarism is present in every book and the
discourses of Eckankar written by Twitchell.
4)
Doug did say that SBTR shouldn't be taken literally as if it really
happened as described but as a 'creative setting'. That he knew of no
plagiarism in SBTR or DWTM and that these two books show how RT
communicated with Paul, teaching him directly via the inner 'as if'
dictating to him. I think that's an accurate way to show how Doug
explained it.
A large portion of RT speaking in the SBTR has been taken almost verbatim
from RS Mat Prakash (Radhasoami Agra, Sant Mat) the first RS english book
written way back in 1896.

Compare pages 129 and 130 of Paul Twitchell's STRANGER BY THE
RIVER (1970) with page 67 of Kirpal Singh's MAN! KNOW THYSELF (first
published in 1954) in THE WAY OF THE SAINTS. David Lane.

Doug Marman said that there was no known plagiarism in the SBTR book. He
was wrong. He never really looked for it. Doug never did much active
research. Most of the time he was passing on ideas, reports on plagiarism,
and information passed on to him by others.
Most of Dougs time on a.r.e. was in discussions about people's 'thinking'
or their 'beliefs' or their percieived 'biases' or their 'assumtptions,
and their 'cherry picking' items, and hypotheticals missvies about changing
times in how people think about 'plagairism' and then arguments about
arguments about known and unknown 'facts' and very little about the
documented historical evidence.
5)
About one third of RT and other 'eck masters' dictating in the DWTM book
is directly from Charles Haanel's 'The Master Key System' (Course 1912;
Published 1919)
In DWTM Chp 5 Twitchell has RT 'dictating' to PT from the 1956-07 The
Ananai Magazine (Japan) article, 'THE SCIENCE OF MORALITY' written by
Paul Twitchell as a (Kirpal Singh) Ruhani Satsang Initiate. A clear
example of PT re-writing his (Ruhani) writings 15yrs later, following
the same text and FORM when he copied, redacted, re-wrote, and
re-presented the writings of others and himself as coming from (RT)
Rebazar tarzs and other 'eck masters.'.
It was these kinds of texts that explained Eckankar philosophy and were
the same basis for Twitchell's discourses. Many times passages from eck
books are found in various discourses verbatim or close.
DWTM is almost all plagiarised material, with over a third of it already
documented coming from 18 authors. See the file ''Dialogues with the
Master' Plagiarism by Paul Twitchell"

“Why did he dramatize in his books? That's the question. I think he did
it for the same reason all the other authors I referred to above did it.
Because art and creativity are often the best voice for spiritual
communication. But I really don't know.”
Doug.
https://groups.google.com/d/msg/alt.religion.eckankar/OhxqwMqKQAI/lAlk2GX762QJ
Exactly, Doug says he doesn't know. When Doug goes on 'not knowing' he
ignores things like this on the DWTM book cover.
"The contents of this book was the first real study of the works of
ECKANKAR which I did a number of years ago. It is the record of the
spoken words of Rebazar Tarzs, the great Tibetan ECK Master, who was
training me for the future position of the next Mahanta, the Living
ECK Master in this world."
It's a fact that the majority of "the spoken words of Rebazar Tarzs" are
in fact verbatim plagiarism the whole way through, lifted whole in sections
in the same order as they were written in the source books.
"There is only one thing in the world, Imagination, and all man's
deformations of it.” said Neville in Awakened Imagination 1954 p.19
"There is only one thing in the world, imagination and all man's
deformations of it.” said Rebazar Tarzs in The Far Country (1964) 1970 p.221
The facts show that there is not one book with RT and Eck masters speaking
that doesn't show up as being plagiarised and copied from another book and
religion/group. But the 'teachings' say that Twitchell was shown and
dictated to him by the Eck masters such RT, GD, FQ, YS, Rami Nuri, Shams
Tabriz, Rumi, and so on.
It is not merely a similarity in belief or philosophy, but a verbatim
plagiarism copied in the extact same form, bar a few name or word changes
here and there, out of other books spoken of and acknowldeged as read by
Twitchell or typed up extracts of them found in Twitchell's archive held by
Harold Klemp and nevr made public or to 'researchers.' How can this be so?
Twitchell took those texts and blended them all together as the 'teachings
of Eckankar'. He used his writing expereince of doing that same thing in his
'pulp fiction' writing days - taking existing texts and blending them into
a new story with different character names but it's the same general plot.
The source material was "FITTED OUT FOR ECKANKAR" by making it come out of
the mouths of the "Eck masters" story line in the writings by Twitchell
where he was the central character and new world leader of this esteemed
'spiritual hierarchy'. This devleoped over time from 1963 when Paul first
coined 'Eckankar' as a distinct idea until 1966. Paul wasn't presented as
the 'master' at that time.
Then he changed his philosophy and redacted names and his writings to fit
the ideal of the 'Tidetan god-eaters vairagi masters' hierarchy and it's
'history'. Paul first introduced RT in late 1964 in his God Eater's article
PT: "...only when Rebazar Tarzu took charge that many changes came about."
from 1964-11 Psychic Observer Mag - The God-Eaters [PTHA Doc Rebazar Tarzu,
Yaubl Socabi, Kirpal Singh, Tigers Fang]
THis is the first time PT ever wrote about Rebazar Tarzs/Tarzu or Yaubl
Sacabi/Socobi, but he didn't use the term "vairagi eck masters'
He says in 1964-11 Psychic Observer Mag - The God-Eaters
PT: "Master Kirpal Singh spoke briefly of these masters when he took me
through theseveral invisible worlds, in 1957. The story of this trip has
been recorded in my book The Tiger’s Fang."
Now, that’s MASTERS not *matters* (Doug copied that wrong several times for
years) - AND that's KIRPAL SINGH not RT taking Paul through the 'invisible
worlds' in the TTF book and not RT.
PT: "Although I had been travelling in these invisible worlds for years it
was only when Rebazar Tarzu took charge that many changes came about.
He broke the barriers of the spiritual worlds and took me to strange lands I
never believed possible. ... he accompanied me for the first time (circa
summer mid-1964 in San Diego or earlier) to this fantastic spiritual city
which looks something like the Land of Oz."
THEREFORE REBAZAR TARZS, according to Paul, only 'took charge' in mid-1964
taking him on these major 'inner travels.'
This is AFTER these books were written:
- Dialogues with the Master DWTM 1956-57; Revised & Edited 1970
- The Tiger's Fang TTF 1957; Copy for Kirpal 1963; Revised & Edited 1967
- The Flute of God TFOG 1959; Orion Mag (changes) 1966-68; Revised & Edited 1969
- LTG 1 Dec 1962-May 1963; Revised & Edited 1973
- LTG 2 May 1963-July 1963; Revised & Edited 1977
- The Far Country Jan-May 1964; Revised & Edited 1971
and this 'reconnection' with RT from 1951ish and meeting the 'god-eaters' with RT
ocurred after PT took Gail for a Ruhani Initiation with Kirpal Singh in Dec 1963.
AND
PT: "Frater X writes of a similar group called the Green Robe monks in South America."
Frater X was in fact L Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology
Doug asks: "Why did he dramatize in his books?"
That he did 'dramatize' aka 'FICTIONALIZE' is far more important to know. Most
people do not know that yet nor the extent of it. And 'dramatize' or
'fictionalize' or 'spin' his real life as well through his artciles and the
IMSIAF book especially.
In 1968 and 1969 Paul suddenly introduced the new terms: Eck master, the living
Eck master, and in January 1969 'the Mahanta' title. No one had heard of this
before, and Paul had never mentioned this before. Twitchell's 'Eckankar'
philosophy and the 'eck masters' story and his 'history' kept on changing from
1963 up to 1970 as shown in last books and the SKS books especially.
For example the broader 'story' in the DWTM book of how Twitchell was taught
"eckankar" is not true. That never happened like that with Rebazar Tarzs. The
facts just do not add up.
The 'story' outlined in The Tiger's Fang book is not true either. That never
happened like that with Rebazar tarzs, the other eck masters, lord's of the
planes speaking .. it too was plagiarised content being put into the mouths of
others PT created in that story. The facts don;t add up.
The broader 'story' presented in The Far Country, and the various articles
speaking about Paul's early contacts with RT are not true. The facts just
don't add up.
The 'stories' presented in IMSIAF also do not add up with the facts. All
Twitchell's stories have been dramatized, fictionalized and mythologized.
The articles and the various stories in such booklets as TKTE don't add up
with the facts either. Twitchell was massaging his 'stories' all the time,
developing them (some would say embellishing them) with more and more
detail over time.
Eventually PT had created an Eckankar cosmology that went all the way back
to the beginnijng of time with his own creation story and history of humanity
as 'spiritual beings' on earth.
These 'story lines' were all done in writing in PTs books and lectures. The
majority of the text in all these books was plagiarised materials copied from
books Twitchell had read.
Now Rebazar Tarzs and Fubbi Quantz may well be true and real 'beings' who
had 'spoken to Paul Twitchell', however they didn't say what PT said they
said to him. he all that from the books and not directly as DICTATION from
ascended Eck masters in contemplations or lucid dreams or his imagination.
7)
There is a set pattern (modus operandi) to Twitchell's writing as he takes
whole sections in order from other people's books. Doug marman ignores this
obvious pattern to how Twitchell wrote his books - by copying from others.
Of course one could still attribute inner guidance to why Twitchell chose
'x' from the source books and not other bits. One can still believe
Twitchell 'saw the inner shariyat books' at the Golden Wisdom temples, and
then also recognised these sections of written material that he transcribed
almost verbatim with minor changes into his Eckankar books and discourses.
Or assume that when Twitchell read all these books across decades, that he
noticed particular writings as 'ringing with the Eck', or was 'led to them
by RT' and intuition or whatever.
But none of that can explain the verbatim copying and that it is done in
the very same order in Twitchell's books as it was in the source books. For
example, Twitchell takes several chapters in a source book, and then
re-writes that into his own book following the same order one section
after another in blocks.
One or two source authors seem to make up the bulk of his books with
several other authors adding in parts all through or in a chapter or short
sections here and there. Twitchell more favoured authors appear in several
of his books. Sometimes he uses the same source text and then places that
into different 'eck masters' speaking and as himself in different books.
What is also a known fact that gets ingored all the time by Doug Marman is
that Twitchell had boxes full of texts bound in manila folders that was typed
up 'VERBATIM EXTRACTS' from a large number of the Library Books that he had
read over the decades.
This large collection of 'copied texts' is noted in multiple reports from
the 1950s into the 1980s. People who assume that Twitchell had a 'photographic
memory' (in fact the opposite, he often made mistakes and had a bad memory
for the details) are only guessing because they did not know he had so much
material already prepared in boxes of manila folders. People like Doug who
say they have seen it have all seaid there was too much so they had not seen
all of what was in Twitchell's archive.
Plus Twitchell had his own collection of pre-assembled 'draft manuscripts'
many more than what was published as Eckankar books.
Knowing all this personally Doug Marman persisted for 25 years to insist
that the content 'known to be plariarised by Twitchell' was only a very tiny
2% at most. Such a belief defies the known facts and a lack of evidence by
ignoring it.
Doug Marman, like most everyone else, had no idea Paul referred to himself as
'the Messiah' in his promos and books .... Doug thought this in the 2000s
after 25 years supposedly focused on PTs life and starting of Eckankar.
From: 1968-1971 The New Age Messiah In Our Midst and Plagiarism
That is, all Twitchell's books were written this way. He fed text in from several books at a
time, and then changed to another set of sources books for the next few chapters.
When plagiarism has been found it dominates the entire text for pages on end. It's fair to
assume that when 20 pages show up and there's no known plagiarism there, that there's
going to be at least one or two sources for it.... even if it's not known right away.
It's clear 'plagiarism dominates' the entire collection of books from beginning to end.
This plagiarism approach to writing and compiling related material becomes a rewriting of
the source content to varying degrees. The extent of the pattern for how much is found in
whole chapters naturally also exists (persists) throughout and across all Twitchell's Eckankar
writings.
That's his style, his MO. Paul would take some passages or whole chapters of text and type
them up on his typewriter for his “manuscript folders”. Later he would “combine and edit
these pages” into a new manuscript. Slightly rewritten and then said by an Eck master or
himself.
Much of the discourses are copied in the same way, the text reordered slightly from the books
or manuscripts. Or Vice-Versa.. But almost all of it is borrowed from some other text. His
monthly letters to chelas was often plagiarized from some text and reframed into 'eckankar'.
Just sayin' .. not complain'. That's what happened basically. An educated guess is more than
90% of Eckankar writings were done in this way.
"One of these days, those folders will make me a lot of money." (sic)

[TEHA 2015] Background Philosophy of 69 Known Authors Plagiarized by Paul Twitchell
There are 69 authors that Twitchell has plagiarized verbatim from that we know of
so far. It's not merely copying 'ideas' or 'words' but the whole content as it is,
word for word. Only basic changes are made such as words/names changed into Eck
terms.
So several years of intense research as the TEHA archive was compiled, the Eckankar
teachings and writings are a compilation mainly drawn from the following religious
philosophies:
New Thought
Metaphysics
Christian Science
Theosophy (Great White Brotherhood & Ascended masters)
Various OOBE, inner astral travel proponents
Scientology (OOBE)
Radha Soami and especially Ruhani Satsang
Kriya Yoga
Hindu Bhakti

LOOK HOW LITTLE KNOWN THE FACTS ARE ...
The coming new president of Eckankar in 2016 was the guest speaker at the
2013 ECKANKAR Connecticut Regional Seminar July 12, 13, & 14, 2013
In the FRONT PAGE of the promotional brochure they included this quote:
Change Your Consciousness, Change Your Life
“It is possible for anyone to change the trend of his
life, not by hearing or reading truth, but by making it
an active part of his consciousness in daily experience,
until it becomes a habit every moment of the day,
instead of an occasional thought. Let God operate in
the consciousness morning, noon, and night until the
actual awareness comes gradually.”

That quote was originally written by Joel Goldsmith in 1956:
"It is possible for anyone to change the trend of his life, not by hearing
or reading truth, but by making it an active part of his consciousness in
daily experience, until it becomes a habit every moment of the day, instead
of an occasional thought. Let these principles operate in the consciousness

If Rebazar Tarzs was there and as real as Twitchell described him, and with
him dictating "eck truths" and going on 'inner travels' then RT would have
had at least had something to say to Twitchell directly and had it recorded
in at least one of his books.
Yet there are no 'real dialogues' between Rebazar Tarzs and Twitchell to be had.
There were no real dialogues between Twitchell and Kirpal Singh either in the
1950s though Twitchell claimed to other RS initiates Kirpal was "appearing" in
PTs apartment and dictating a series of lectures to him.
Twitchell had created several "Literary Pegs" iow, these characters were used
to speak the writings and ideas of others. eg VAIRAGYA by Dr. Julian Johnson
- becomes Vairagi by Twitchell
"VAIRAGYA is the next important step in mental preparation for the Path,...
This means the mental detachment of oneself from the external world. This is
real vairagya. It does not in any way teach or imply that one should physically
detach himself from the world. He need not leave his family or society, his
public or private duties. The Masters never teach that sort of vairagya....
Detachment, as taught by the Masters, does not imply austerities."

MORE ON PLAGIARISM SOURCES
Doug Marman never did any real research or collected all the relevant
information known about Twitchell and the early Eckankar days. Doug would
usually come at things independent of the rest of the story and Eckankar as it
was.

Doug Marman never properly addresses the number of known authors used
by Twitchell to fill the content of his major books. Let's look at a few.
Doug Marman never acknowledges the amount of plagiarism involved. He never
really looked at it all properly, side by side book by book page after page
chapter after chapter.
In 1967, The Tiger's Fang 'story' includes much plagiarism from:
Julian Johnson
Talbot Mundy
Walter Russell
Ali Nomad (alias of Dr. Alexander J. McIvor-Tyndall)
Thomas Merton
Kirpal Singh
Shiv Dayal Singh
Robert Graves and
Christmas Humphreys or EA Burtt
The Key to Eckankar, 1968 ( 48 pages ) is almost totally plagiarized materials
despite most of that book being RT talking to Twitchell.
Neville Goddard (NTM)
Talbot Mundy (Novelist/Occult)
L. Ron Hubbard (NTM/Occult)
Joel S. Goldsmith (NTM)
WT Stace (Philosophy of Mysticism)
Seng Ts’an (Buddhist)
Christmas Humphreys (Buddhist)
EA Burtt' (Buddhist)
1969, Eckankar: Key to Secret Worlds,
is almost a reflection of the essentials found in The Path
of the Masters by Julian Johnson. Other parts are from Kirpal
Singh's Ruhani writings and also from the 'Sar Bachan' by
Shiv Dayal Singh. A book PT referred to as "his bible" in the
early 1960s where the text shows up in several Eckankar books.
Here's what Paul Twitchell says about
the apparent similarities between
Eckankar's inner plane cosmology and of
the Hindu's Advaita Vedanta & Theosophy's:
"What the Theosophical Society calls
their planes or what we know of them
through the Vedanta group never
particularly bothered me, for they are
the same and we are not troubled
with making comparisons. All we wish to
do is to keep straight in our mind those
various planes and the governments on
each. I have used the names given by the
Shariyat-Ki-Sugmad which is the Holy
Book of the Eck masters of the ancient
Vairagis order."

Doug Marman never address the WHOLE OF THE HISTORY involving Twitchell. He never
made lists like the above. He never laid out the basic facts or the evidence
piece by piece. He was always 'massaging' the story and the meaning of individual
pieces of evidence, but never looking at those in the broader context that
includes all the known information .... as opposed to ignoring it or forgetting
all about it.
Not every instance or author has been found. It is unlikely that
all PTs text sources could ever be known. But it is clear that
'plagiarism' is the NORM and NOT the EXCEPTION for Twitchell and is
present in all Twitchell's books and articles and included in some of
his monthly letters as well.
Doug Marman always took a position to minimise the extent of known plagiarisms,
would argue what was and wasn't "verbatim enough" to be considered plagiarism
or just close, and he never really did his own research. Doug would be discount
the importance and extent of most examples. The fact is in the 1980s to the
2000s very few people had access to copies of these kinds of books.
The Path of the Masters was a classic case of finding a source that Twitchell
used repeatedly across several books.
Most plagiarism had previously been found by Prof Sutphin, then David Lane,
and by several others who fed that information to Lane (including Dr Bluth a
President for Eckankar for many years and a long time high level initiator of
High Initiates such as Patti Simpson and Darwin Gross.) Most cases of
plagiarism were found by coincidence as people were reading books. Few did any
in depth searches or paid much attention to the list of authors recommended by
Paul Twitchell and various mentions of people in his texts. By the mid to late
2000s many books had been digitized and uploaded to the internet. Now it was
possible to do key word and phases searches. Today there would be even more
old books now online that were sources for Twitchell's writings to be
discovered.
But there comes a point where enough is enough and the pattern is clear and
obvious how Paul Twitchell wrote his books. He blended texts from all over and
placed them in a context of "eckankar and the eck masters" which included how
he claimed he was taught.
One could still believe and accept that Twitchell was 'guided by RT and eck
masters' and agree the majority of his writings are plagiarized (in the normal
sense) almost word for word from over 100 books. That PT was 'influenced' or
even 'told' to include those parts of the source writings to be a part of the
eck teachings.
But one would also probably conclude, based on the evidence now, that it's not
literally true when Paul was claiming that RT or another eck master was
'speaking or dictating' to him as written - because that material keeps coming
up as being plagiarized too, often verbatim copying, from other authors.
PT writes that Fubbi Quantz 'dictated' both Shariyat books to him. That doesn't
seem to be accurate either. Rebazar Tarzs didn't give those talks in the SBTR
stories. Rebazar tarzs didn't turn up nightly and 'dictate' material for Paul
to write. RT didn;t say all those things to Paul in TKTE booklet, most of it is
plagiarized in huge chunks from mostly 8 authors in the same "field" as Paul's
Eckankar was.
That's no coincidence. People finding it in the 1960s would have been rare
indeed, an uncommon coincidence. It's not as difficult now to find out about
the plagiarisms or find more examples of it new, than it was in the 1980s and
1990s.
The main mistake made is not realizing that:
... 'An absence of evidence does not mean it's evidence of absence.'
Those who believe that a 'thought experiment' (sophistry argument by several
Eckists going back to the 1990s) a 'gross calculation' only 2% of plagiarism
had been found in Twitchell's writings have not looked at the plagiarism that
has been documented themselves in full.

An interesting report by Doug Marman, made in 2009
It's about DWTM & Twitchell's personal chela/master “letters” to Kirpal Singh
“By the way, in my notes that I recently ran across, I also found that I had
seen a letter that Paul had written in 1956. It appears to be in the format
of Dialogues with the Master and it did refer to Kirpal, but it was
never included in the book. It was an inner study of Buddhism. So, this is
at least one example of notes he had that originally referred to Kirpal
that he left out, when he published the book years later.”

TKTE booklet is never mentioned by Doug Marman as being totally plagiarized
and not a long chat with RT in Seattle in 1963 but just another compilation
of various other texts presented into his "fitted out" for Eckankar narrative,
or a Cosmology, iow the 'dramatized history' story by Twitchell.

Used by Twitchell in The Flute of God - by 'Bernard of England'
"This is a time for Truth, the Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth. This is no time for
half truths,
for bewilderment and lack of understanding, for these are the soil in which helpless grief grows. In
truth alone is
there comfort and understanding and courage. That is why, because I understand so well, I am giving you
Truth.
"Apart from Truth being spoken to others, Truth is an absolute need in our lives. We must see Truth and
know
Truth and think Truth, always. If we refuse to see Truth, or pretend we cannot tell what is true and
what is not;
if we distort Truth or seek to mix it with untruth; if we, in fact, like to deceive both ourselves and
others if the
truth does not present an attractive aspect to us, then chaos will reign in our lives."

The experience described in each of the nine books came to me while I was awake and conscious, so all I
can do is to
call it a “waking dream”.
It occupied about three to five minutes in each case, so that all that is described in the nine books,
while seeming at the
time to cover a vast period, actually occupied no more than thirty to forty minutes. Immediately I had
had the
experience I was filled with such joy that I could hardly wait to get it all down, writing on and on at
top speed for hours
each day, despite the fact that I was ill and in much pain. [...]
I do not know, with my conscious mind and in my everyday life, any of the people who are mentioned in
these books.
As for the date—it was, as far as I can remember, about 1943. – Bernard

I wonder, do people who have studied any of Bernard, Joel Goldsmith, Eureka
Society, Kriya Yoga, Radhasoami, Ishwah Puri, Charles F. Haanel, Thomas Troward
Neville Goddard L. Ron Hubbard, Walter Terence Stace, Robert Munroe, Paul
Brunton, Swami Premananda or Hazrat Inayat Khan and so on .... ever met with
'eck masters' on their travels?
ie Eck masters that look like Rebazar, Harji, Paulji, Gopal Das, Yaubl Sacabi,
Fubbi Quantz, Kata Daki, Rami Nuri, Rumi, Shams, Lai Tsi, or even 'Sudar Singh'
and others?

1996 LEM Klemp accuses Kirpal Singh of Forgery and Psychic Bondage

Doug Marman agrees and further accuses Kirpal Singh of things he never did in TWT.
Doug Marman
Feb 21 2010
"As for what David did, I'll put it this way: If I had come out and
openly critcized and attacked a person's reputation and then found out
I was even partially wrong, never mind so far off from the truth as he
was, I would have felt horrible and would openly have apologized and
made a public statement to correct my mistake."
"And if I had caused some people to leave their faith on what turned
out, even partially, to be inaccurate information or misleading, I
would have been humbled and would also have publicly done what I could
to make up for such an egregious error."
And yet Doug Marman himself made several false accusations against Kirpal Singh
that were never true. He never corrected the record nor did he admit fault.
Doug Marman has simply ignored what he got wrong in TWT for many years now.
What's 'funny' is that Doug is guilty of all the 'bad things' he accused David
Lane of doing 'against Twitchell and Eckankar.'
