Such are the lies coming from the lying pens of the
http://bit.ly/terribly_hungry (Genesis 25:32) commentators.

That which is "spiritual" is independent of time so that there
would've been no reference to "now."

Therefore, the LORD is referring to physical hunger here instead of
the spiritual "hunger and thirst for righteousness" elsewhere in
Scripture.

Indeed, physical hunger can **not** coexist with physical thirst
because the latter results in the loss of saliva needed for physical
hunger.

It is when we hunger for food "now" (Luke 6:21a) that we are able to
eat food "now."

No such time constraints exist for "spiritual hunger."

Moreover, the perspective of Luke 6:21a through the eyes of a
physician (i.e. Dr. Luke) would be logically expected to be physical
instead of spiritual.

All glory ( http://bit.ly/Psalm117_ ) to GOD for His compelling you to
unwittingly demonstrate your ever worsening cognitive condition which
is tragically a consequence of His cursing (Jeremiah 17:5) you more

Taking your reply to mean "yes, you have a healthy appetite," I share
with you, Nicodemus, that it's really Wonderful (Isaiah 9:4) knowing
through our hunger (Deuteronomy 8:3) that we're both being blessed
right now as it's written in the Gospels in red&white at Luke 6:21
**and** according to pure logic (healthy=wonderful & appetite=hunger)
and advise that you try to write that you're "wonderfully hungry"
since we've established here that you are:

So now how are you ?

While wonderfully hungry ( http://bit.ly/Philippians4_12 ) in the Holy

I share with you, Ted, that your being able to reply here on USENET
does indicate that you have the more fundamental ability to eat.

So you do, in fact, have the ability to eat at the moment, don't you

The context here is that if GOD had not said "now I know," we wouldn't
**now** know that Abraham had proven that he had indeed made the
choice to fear GOD.

Abraham was without an agenda and clearly did not interpret "now I
know" to mean that "GOD did not know" as evident by his continuing to
trust GOD and thereby receive the ram (Genesis 22:13) to use as a
substitute burnt offering.

LIE.

"Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. But
the Angel of the LORD called out to him from Heaven, 'Abraham!
Abraham!' 'Here I am,' he replied. 'Do not lay a hand on the boy,' He
said. 'Do not do anything to him.'" (Genesis 22:10-12)

To knowingly lie before those of us who are wonderfully hungry (

(Deuteronomy 8:3) us to hunger, is to blaspheme against (Mark 3:29)
Him.

It's worse; tragically, such folks are eternally condemned for
blaspheming against (Mark 3:29) the Holy Spirit.

LIE.

It is clearly written that Abraham "stretched forth his hand" (Genesis
22:10a) thereby starting "to slay his son" (Genesis 22:10c) so that
his being stopped **after** he "took the knife" (Genesis 22:10b) does
mean he did try but was stopped **after** he had already started "to
slay his son." (Genesis 22:10)

Bottom line:
Abraham tried "to slay his son" (Genesis 22:10c) but was stopped by
GOD in the middle of his attempt.

Matthew 2:16 is given verbatim above.

It is no mistake to recognize that, geographically, travel due East
for two years on the Silk Road leads to what is China.

> And China, is never once mentioned in the Bible. Why, because

No.

There are an infinite number of things not mentioned in the Bible not
because they are heathen but because there is not enough room (John
21:25) for everything that our LORD Jesus has done/created.

> There were no Christians in it. Or Jews.

It is written that LORD Jesus says He has sheep in other pastures
(John 10:16) **and** that with GOD all things are possible (Matthew
19:26).

> Matthew chpt2
>
> 1 When Jesus therefore was born in Bethlehem of Juda, in the days of

In the Jewish (CJB) translation, they are called Magi, which is
without gender and does not imply wisdom, which was clearly lacking
according to Matthew 2:2-3

> 2 Saying, Where is he that is born king of the Jews? For we have seen

It was **not** wise to inquire about a new toddler king of the Jews
while an old king of the Jews still reigns.

Magi, meaning powerful ones, would possibly (Matthew 19:26) have had
the power to defeat the troubled (aka angry) King who likely sent "all
Jerusalem" (i.e. all his soldiers) to kill them.

> 4 And assembling
> together all the chief priests and the scribes of the people, he

After being defeated, King Herod apparently felt he had no choice but
to give the Magi the information they wanted.

And, so he learned that it took two years (Matthew 2:16) for the Magi
to travel from their land of origin in the East (i.e. China) to
Jerusalem.

> 8 And sending them into
> Bethlehem, said: Go and diligently inquire after the child, and when you

It would have been easier to accompany the Magi and worship the 2
year-old child at the same time but it is likely that King Herod was
afraid that the 2 year-old LORD Jesus would know what was in the old
king's heart and command His Magi to kill the traitor.

The latter are expensive spices known to have been transported along
the Silk Road.

Therefore, the time of travel for the Magi was 2 years.

For the Jewish people to allow this massacre without uprising to kill
Herod, the mass-child-murderer, does mean that they were afraid that
the Magi were going to return in greater numbers to install the
toddler as the new king so that they would be over-run by these Magi
people who were so foreign in appearance that the Jewish people were
unable to tell male from female (hence the use of the gender-less
word, Magi).

It is a miracle that to this day Nazareth still exists while much
larger cities of the time period do not.

Taking your continued interest in the above Holy Spirit-guided

healthy appetite," I remind you, Daniel, that it's really Wonderful
(Isaiah 9:6) knowing through our hunger (Deuteronomy 8:3) that we're
both being blessed right now as it's written in the Gospels in
red&white at Luke 6:21 **and** according to pure logic
(healthy=wonderful & appetite=hunger) and advise that you try to write
that you're "wonderfully hungry" since we've re-established here that
you are:

Actually, it's the incorrect choice of lack being "another word for

The correct synonym for wants is desires in the context of GOD, Who

While wonderfully hungry in the Holy Spirit, Who causes (Deuteronomy
8:3) me to hunger right now (Luke 6:21a), I pray (2 Chronicles 7:14)
that GOD changes your heart (Ezekiel 11:19-20 & 36:26) so that you,
Duke, would come to trust the truth (John 14:6), Who is Jesus Christ
of Nazareth --> http://T3WiJ.com

Amen.

Laus DEO.
