One post will be noticed, especially if it's not in one of their threads which people may be ignoring. Their posting about such means they're paying attention to what the issue is and want to make sure it's being acknowledged. If no one says anything about it how are they to know it's being acknowledged?

I'm hoping they have an alternate place to this one. They are too active of posters for the lower activity level of this group and can easily run afoul of people here again when the urge to be active hits.

Again, with the name calling, personal attacks and impostor troll posts ended, I'm now free to work on the Shadowville Mythos poetry blog, and to promote that and my book more fully.

And, yes, I have always had quite a few venues for promotion, I've simply considered this group a sort of home base for a decade or so, and that won't change.

If you consider that trolling, you are really desperate for excuses to fight. I have used similar language on people here when I resort to criticizing them for their behavior. It was all "well said" and such when it was your enemies receiving the criticism. But not now, now that its time to address your part in the fighting. Shall I post the entire run of the Taunt thread where you alone was attacking everyone else, and getting quite nasty about it, while everyone else was being civil and trying to respond with commentary?

And you are promoting a censorship that not even moderated groups don't support-- that no one can say anything negative. I would call you a control freak but I think you want people hating you so you have something to do since no will talk to you otherwise.

This was actually quite restrained compared to what was normal for this flame war. This would be acceptable argument in a moderated group. And I actually agree with some of the points that were made after today.

And no I'm not slurping or sucking up. If Mr. Rochester was referring to Hieronymous' blog, I would have to disagree with him. But all of this is our opinions which we are entitled to.

If I'm slurping then I will have to forget about Zod's request to talk to Pendragon about the name calling. I paid attention and felt some sympathy and was keeping it mind for if the peace held (and I would have better leverage for a request).

Any unmoderated group is a democracy.

It's a group comprising a number of individuals with a shared interest or interests. And in any group, the guidelines regarding group interaction are going to be determined by the majority.

The impostor trolls have done me, and the group, a huge favor by stopping their impersonations. You need to *acknowledge* this favor by cutting back on your posts -- in spite of what one or two non-participating trolls might do.

Have some consideration for others, and "skip and ignore" the trolls.

He's as bad as Dockery. If it's something that criticizes Dockery or slams his ego in some way then Dockery will call it "trolling" and usually post-edit, snip or otherwise miss the entire point.

I have used similar language on people here when I resort to criticizing them for their behavior. It was all "well said" and such when it was your enemies receiving the criticism. But not now, now that its time to address your part in the fighting. Shall I post the entire run of the Taunt thread where you alone was attacking everyone else, and getting quite nasty about it, while everyone else was being civil and trying to respond with commentary?

Oh there's no dispute. I simply find Will an abhorrent, self-centered, ignorant, garbled, illiterate, asshole who is so narcissistic that he can only see the world for what he wants it to be at the time. Lies and misrepresentations usually need to be corrected to keep the record straight on search engines and in the archives.
