Below-40-IQ Simulation of the Month (June 2009)

awards. Some of them may have to wait until the new year because
there are so many possibiities.
I was able to narrow down the competition for the June award to two
posts. Though neither simulation is as spectacular as the 3-person
January simulation, both are striking enough to merit the award in the
absence of the other. I finally decided that the following post was
the more deserving of the award. Note how Gwen accused Osprey of
breaking the law, and I asked her what law she was accusing him of
breaking, and she said she wasn't accusing him of "anything" but then
contradicted herself *immediately*.

I give far MORE time to these irresponsible (and, in the case of
"lies," unsupportable) claims of yours than you deserve. Back in
1992-97, when you and your allies didn't dominate talk.abortion the
way you do now, I gave them much closer to the amount of attention
they deserve. That's one of the main things that keeps me busy--the

way back in March that he would make a great interrogator of any
American soldier captured by the enemy in Iran -- and now Afghanistan
seems to be an even more promising place for him. He can carry such
conviction when he claims people did things (or not did things, like

No, only "Low-IQ-Simulator" is what I was, unintentionally: I lost
sight of what the referent was, and so in a fit of absent-mindedness I
applied what you wrote to what YOU had written and I had documented
further down in the post. I have an open-and-shut case against you on
that one, and so naturally you deleted it this time around.
What I should actually have addressed is the issue of whether Gwen
did a low-IQ simulation when she accused Osprey of having committed a
crime right after claiming "I am not accusing Osprey of anything."
She had also accused him of one in the preceding post.
So, Ray, if you want to nominate me for "Below - __- IQ simulator of
the month (Feb 2010) ... oh, wait, I am overlooking something
below...

Ah...wait...yes...it looks like YOU also thought you had been talking
about what I had said about YOU rather than about Gwen. So I think
the fairest thing to do is to nominate our respective performances for
one award, "Below-__-IQ Simulation of the Month (Feb 2010)" and if
NEITHER of us can find a better example in the rest of February, we
share the award between the two of us.
And here I thought you were being altruistic and sacrificing yourself
for Gwen. I probably should have known better--you've always come

The explanation for the 2 month delay is that I was looking for
threads where Keegan had posted his infamous "5 lies that weren't
lies" post [I've found 8 so far, most of them having the same wording
in the substantive part, down to the misspelling "agin" for "again".
But I arrived here a couple of hours late, the 60 day deadline in
Google for replies had expired, so I thought I'd hit something on this
thread that still hadn't expired, and your number came up first.
If I had waited even this long, I would have missed my chance--your
post to which I replied has expired for over an hour by now.
Haste makes waste. But at least the waste is entertaining.

One COULD read this as saying that the false claim about Fischer is
that he is merely the one deserving the "first runner-up" award for
"Below-40-IQ Simulator of the Month (June 2009)" whereas the reality
is that he has beat Gwen out by a country mile. To be consistent with
this, the rest of Fischer's sentence should then be interpreted as
Fischer claiming that I am stupid for not reading the context of what
Gwen was saying, or a liar for ...well, one of two possible reasons or
both...
But in my first reply today that possibility did not even occur to me,
while in my second reply I discounted that possibility because the
last "or" doesn't sit well in the sentence this way; it should have
been replaced by ", and"
And so, the first time I [mis?]read the whole sentence as applying to
what Fischer had written in what I've been calling "the first runner-
up" and the second time I [mis?]read it as applying purely to what
Gwen had written, with Fischer having forgotten in the intervening two
months what he had been referring to.
With this in mind, everything falls into place below.

Well, Jon, I haven't seen a post by you since Dec. 31 but I posted
